CORNERSTONE PROJECT ENGINEERING
Privacy policy
How we handle personal information provided through project enquiries and this website.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, company, email address, phone number, project or site location, enquiry details, drawings, specifications and photographs. Files may contain personal information about you or other people.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and ensure you are authorised to share it. Avoid including identity documents, financial account details or unrelated personal information.
Our website and enquiry system may also record technical information, including your IP address, browser details, the page used and the date and time of submission.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry information to respond, clarify project requirements, prepare quotations and coordinate the requested services. We may also use relevant records to manage our business relationship, resolve issues, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. Enquiry consent does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
You can call us to make a general enquiry without completing the form. If you choose not to provide information needed for a quotation or project assessment, we may be unable to progress that request.
Who may receive it
Information may be available to Cornerstone personnel and service providers who support our website, email, IT and business administration. Where needed to assess or deliver your project, relevant information may be shared with advisers or contractors involved in that work. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Storage and security
Enquiry records may be held in our website submission system, email and project records. Our project enquiry form sends uploaded files as email attachments rather than retaining permanent downloadable copies on the website. Copies may remain in recipient mailboxes, project files and backups.
We restrict access to people who need the information for their work and apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Information should be retained only while needed for the relevant business or legal purpose, then securely deleted or de-identified when practicable, taking backup retention into account.
Website services and overseas handling
This website includes Google Maps. Loading or using the map may send technical information to Google, which handles information under its own privacy policy. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
To request access to or correction of your personal information, or raise a privacy concern, contact us using the details below. Explain the information or issue involved so we can investigate. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records.
We will review privacy concerns and communicate the outcome. If an issue remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about available complaint pathways, where applicable.
